No matter what you have gone through, there is always a way of escape. God wants you to get out of the pit of self-pity. Pull yourself up (come on you can do it) and reach for the Hand of God who is reaching out to you. Getting up can be underrated until you realize you can either lay in this situation or change the situation. You can become a victim the rest of your life or you can learn to live life to the fullest and become a survivor.

THE FREEDOM TRAIN
Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to ride a train. After watching them on television, I thought it would be a fun thing to do but the city that I live in does not offer train services. I got to ride a train for the first time in 2007. It was fun just as I had anticipated. The people were very friendly. I sat with a male and female before reaching my destiny and they were both interesting people. Just meeting them alone, made the trip worthwhile.
I had a dream over thirty years ago that I was riding a train. In the dream, I was a young girl walking down the street trying to get to my home. I could not get home because there was a path that I had to cross and a big hole was there. I could not cross the path because if I tried, I thought that I would fall into this deep hole and perhaps die. I kept wondering if I would ever make it home. Just when I thought there was no hope, a train came by. The conductor who was an elderly man (about 80 years old) stopped the train and said to me, "Can I help you?" I began to cry. I said, "I am trying to get home but there is a big hole here and if I try to cross it, I will fall into it." He said to me, "Come on, I will help you." He stopped the train and took me by the hand and I was able to get on safely with the help of the conductor. In the dream, he drove me home (via the train). He saw to it that I reach my destiny. As I got off the train I said to him, "Thank you for helping me." "If you had not helped me, I would have fallen into the deep hole." He smiled at me as I walked into my white colored home with a white picket fence. I felt a sense of relief and peace.
What are you feeling pressured about? Are you feeling a sense of endangerment? Do you feel as if you world is caving in? If so, come on and ride the "spiritual freedom train." The Conductor of this train is Elohim (God). He is holding out His hand ready and willing to help you.
We need to be free from worry, anxiety and stress. Have you recently lost a love one through divorce or death? Are you dealing with a rebellious child or perhaps you are dealing with health issues. No matter the situation, the Father is there to aid you. He will carry you through.
I Peter 5:7 "Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you." (Messianic Edition of the Living Bible)
I realize that there may be some who do not want to board the Freedom Train. Some people become "addicted to misery." These people feel that if they do not have something bad to talk about that something is wrong. They thrive off of chaos.
I Corinthians 14:33 "God is not one who likes things to be disorderly and upset." He likes harmony and He finds it in all the other congregations." (Messianic Edition of the Living Bible)
It is HaSatan (satan, the devil) who wants to keep you captured. He enjoys seeing you struggle through life. The sad thing about this is some people will begin to agree with him when He suggests to you that there is no way out. He may say things to you such as, "Why don't you commit suicide?" Do not agree with him.
At one time I was the founder and director of a Christian based shelter for abused women. Part of the teaching that was given to them while sheltered was the "stockholm syndrome." The stockholm syndrome is when the victim agrees with everything the abuser says about her. She begins to feel sorry for the one who has captured her. She believes everything that he says. Believers sometimes gets "spiritual stockholm syndrome." They begin to agree with the devil and believes his lies.
II Corinthians 3:17 says, "The Lord is the Spirit who gives them life, and where He is there is freedom (from trying to be saved by keeping the laws of God). (Messianic Edition of the Living Bible)
Romans 6:18, 22 says that we are freed from bondage.
John 8:44 says that there is no truth in the enemy and that whenever he speaks, he speaks a lie.
Come on and let's take a freedom ride. Your fare has been paid many years ago by Yeshua (Jesus). I am sure that you do not want to carry anymore anxieties and failures. The Freedom Train pulls up to the doors daily of those who need it. Just tell Adonai (the Lord) that you need to ride this train spiritually. As you board the train, the Conductor (God) will take you by your hand and help you just as He did me. He will help you reach your destiny.

SHALOM (PEACE) GALATIANS 5:22-26
Galatians 5:22&23 "But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives He will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control; and here there is no conflict with Jewish laws (Messianic Edition of The Living Bible).
The peace of God is one of the fruits of the Spirit. When you have the peace of God, the blessings of God will follow. The Hebrew translation for the word shalom is peace. When we come to God with the right heart and attitude (an attitude of thankfulness) the peace of God that passes all understanding will guard our hearts.
According to Philippians 4:7 God is the source of peace.
Isaiah 26:3 "He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord."
Is there a specific reason why you may be seeking peace? Is there illness in the family? Are your children more than you can handle? Have you gone through a recent divorce? Our your debts so high that you can see no way out? Are you in an abusive marriage? Have you received a bad report from the doctor?
We must believe God and trust Him in every situation in our life. We will not approach Him with anxiety but we will trust and believe in the prayers that we have prayed.
We are to remember Philippians 4:19 "And it is He who will supply all your needs from His riches in glory because of what Messiah Yeshua has done for us (Messianic Edition of the Living Bible).
Despite your problems, I know that there is something that you are thankful for. Did you wake up in your right mind this morning? Were you able to buy groceries this week? Is your rent or mortgage sharehiswordforever.copaid? Did you receive a positive report from medical tests that was taken?
"Todah" (Hebrew word for thank you) Adonai!! Adonai is the Hebrew word for Lord.
During this holiday season, let us have peace (shalom) that we are children of the Most High God. He chose to be His children before the world began. Be thankful in every situation because our God has promised to provide our every need. He keeps His word. If you are His child, He will protect you.
As you gather with friends and relatives, let His shalom (His peace) surround you. You still have a lot to be thankful for.

The Woman At The Well
Yeshua (Jesus) met the Samaritan woman at the village of Sychar by Jacob's Well near Mount Gerizim. There was racial hatred between the Jews and the Samaritans.
The Samaritans were a mixed race of people who had married the Assyrians several centuries before. The Samaritans were hated by the Jews because they had their own version of the Bible and their own temple on Mount Gerizim.
The Samaritan woman was not rich. Women who were well to do did not draw water from the wells in those days (John 4:7).
It was customary, that Jewish men did not speak in public to women, including their wives. Yeshua was considered a rabbi so this was a greater restriction for Him. Women were not taught the Bible. Yeshua did not treat women in the ways of His culture. Yeshua acted and spoke as if women and men are equal before God.
The Bible states in John 4:4 that Yeshua had to go through Samaria. At this time, the Jews would avoid contact with a Samaritan, they felt as if they would become contaminated. Yeshua intentionally sought this woman out just like He seeks us out today.
He is still intentionally seeking out those who are in pain. October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Anti-Bullying Month. Any individual who falls into one of the above three categories is in pain. Please know for a surety that Adonai is seeking you out. He desires to heal your pain whether it is physical, emotional, verbal, economic or any other type of pain. Just like sin, pain does not discriminate.
The woman at the well must have had a special need. Yeshua knew what she was going through. He came to clear her reputation among the "church folks" as well as others. It seems as our brothers and sisters in Yeshua can at times be more critical than those who are in the world. Yeshua met her where she was at, He sought her out and then He restored her. We all have done wrong. The Word of God says, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Whenever you are reading this article, today is your "day of restoration." Come out of your emotional pit. There is a task that has been assigned to you by Yeshua that only you can do. Don't worry about your qualifications, He has thoroughly processed your credentials and you are cleared to do the task at hand.
Most sinners (including me) are in pain after sinning or being sinned against.
John 4: 29 says that the woman at the well ran to her town and told them about Yeshua. "Come and meet a man who told me everything I ever did." She was evangelizing. I wonder if she emphasized the word, "man?" Yeshua would be considered a man in her eyesight because He did not ask her for anything. He did not condemn her, instead He encouraged her.
The scriptures does not state why this woman was married five times. Whatever the reason, Yeshua chose to love her through it. He knew that she had a special need or pain in her life. People who have never divorced do not know the pain that a divorcee suffers. I know from experience that marriages that end because of divorce are emotionally worse than a marriage that ends because of death.
Yeshua never met this woman before. He gave her a word of knowledge. He revealed to her that she had had five husbands and the man she was living with at that time was not her husband.
Yeshua told this woman that she would never thirst again because He could give her living water. Living water means "eternal life." Eternal life is the gift that would satisfy her soul's desire that was only given through Him. Yeshua never condemned this woman because of her multiple marriages, so who are we to judge others?
No one know what goes on behind closed doors. Domestic violence is very high among Christians. It is as if an abuser intentionally seeks out a woman who he can tangle into his web of lies and deception. The abuser looks for the "nice woman." They look for the woman who serves Adonai. These men are known to be "charmers." Typically, they act one way behind closed doors and another way in public.
I am learning to ask Adonai for keen discernment when a man comes into my life. I don't want any type of abuse in my life again. Out there is a man who will love me the way Yeshua loves the church and died for it. I have learned not to "settle" just to have someone in my life. I am sure that one day soon I will be saying to my family and friends, "come see a man." This man will be a man full of integrity and value. This man will be like Yeshua.
